Mojo Connection

For the design of the custom Metahumans, I used the Blender plugin Facebuilder to create a 3D face mesh based on AI-generated photos. Using the Unreal plugin Meshmorpher, I then transformed the default Metahuman into the mesh created in Blender. Using Blender’s sculpting tools in combination with Meshmorpher, I finalized sculpting the three avatar’s bodies and faces.


Facial accessories were binded to the Metahuman within the Unreal blueprint while shoes were binded to the foot skeleton in Blender. All texture alterations were made within Substance Painter and any hair modifications were made within Blender and then rebinded to the Metahuman within the Metahuman’s Unreal blueprint.


Mojo Connection is a team of digital avatars developed at Mojo Design, created to become virtual influencers and design collaborative content for upcoming fashion brands in China.

I was the technical creative director for this project, designing the technological pipeline to create the custom Metahuman avatars and then teaching the Mojo Design team every step of the pipeline so they can continue to create content using the custom avatars.







All clothing design was created and simulated within Marvelous Designer.






I employed the technological workflow with the Mojo creative team and co-directed these animations with the launch of the avatar trio, aiming to highlight each’s personality. Facial animations were recorded with Live Link Face and processed with Metahuman Animator. Body animations were done in Unreal as well as sourced from Mixamo.





Our animations were later showcased in collaboration with INNERCO at COSMO Chengdu.
